I was a traumatized teenager when we got her, immediately followed by both of us being traumatized by an accident. But we healed together and became a team. She was opinionated and quirky. Couldn’t tie her, ponying off her was almost impossible, touchy about her feet, and she’d open your pockets if she thought you had treats (this stopped when she bit mom on the rear because she didn’t have a treat..) – and if you dared to eat by her she’d try and steal your food.
